Hi, I'm Julie.
I've always been a keen photographer from a very young age, starting out with Polaroid cameras and gradually working my way up to the best cameras I could afford. I would always enjoy taking photos on family holidays, and lots of pictures of the family pets!
When I got my first digital camera, I thought it was amazing to instantly see what I'd just taken - instead of waiting for the photos to be developed! Before long, family and friends were asking me to take pictures of their special events, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I've had a long career in early years teaching (which I loved), but photography was always my passion. So, a few years ago, I decided to make photography not just my passion, but my new career. Since that decision, I've worked for a number of photography companies specialising in children's and family portrait photography.
I now have my own photography business doing weddings, christenings, holy communions, parties/children's parties, graduation photos, portraits, family get-togethers, pet portraits, and many other occasions.
My experience gained from a career working with children has put me in a unique position to bring out the best in them. My friendly, outgoing personality also helps me put people at ease. I'm very patient and always work hard to do the very best for my clients - no job is too small!
